About The Power of Magic
Kerik Darekul vanished five years ago. But no one told him that.
In the Rose Court of Azuria, there are many theories about what happened to the fourth illegitimate son of Prince Rafus. But when Kerik awakes in a mysterious tower in the frozen north, he discovers the truth is far stranger.
Kerik's captor is a serious and oddly attractive fae. Perl doesn’t seem at all bothered by the fact that the fae don’t exist and is far more concerned with his strange plan to save the world. A plan that involves Kerik, magic and a quest to the fae realm -- which also does not exist.
Visiting the fae realm means Kerik posing as Perl’s thrall -- a mortal plaything. The only way a mortal like Kerik would be allowed inside the fae court.
But Kerik knows an opportunity for adventure when he sees one. And more than that: a chance to gain the power he’d always craved. Power that is beyond the reach of other mortal men. Power that could bring the Azurian Empire to its knees.
--The Power of Magic is the fourth book of the Heirs of the Empire. An MM dark fantasy romance series set in a cruel and repressive world. Each of the books will follow one of the illegitimate sons of the heir to the Imperial throne of Azuria, as they find love, fight for justice and discover their part in a long-forgotten prophecy.
Every couple will get an HEA by the end of the series and an HFN in their book.
Each book follows a different couple, but the series is best read in order.
