About The Blight of Hollowmire
She is becoming the end of the world. He is sworn to stop her—no matter the cost.
In Hollowmire, fae magic can unfurl the petals of a rose, spark a flame, or summon a spring breeze—unless you’re Vireth, who can only leave rot-hungry mushrooms, poisonous slime molds, and soft clouds of bone-white spores in her wake.
Shunned for her decay magic and overshadowed by her perfect sisters, she has spent her life staying small, quiet, contained. But something is changing. Her rot is spreading. And when a fortune teller names her the Blight Mother—harbinger of the world’s end—Vireth can no longer pretend she is merely unwanted.
She is something far worse.
Beyond Hollowmire, the Kingdom of Valehar is dying. Its crops grow beautifully, yet they feed no one. Its people starve with full bellies. Desperate, the regent summons the only man who might end the blight: Renard, a war-hardened knight turned farmer exiled to the edge of a forest that whispers of ancient things. To restore balance, the Blight Mother’s blood must be spilled.
When his path crosses Vireth’s, he finds not a monster—but a woman fierce, bitter, and heartbreakingly alone. A woman who could save the world… or unmake it entirely.
As famine spreads and ancient forces stir, they are drawn together by fate and a dangerous, impossible desire. But love offers no sanctuary here.
Because if she becomes the Blight Mother, he will have to kill her.
And if he hesitates, the world will not survive.
