About Masks of Meat
Demented with grief and guilt, Lord Arthur Lan refuses to accept the tragic death of his son, Taro. He agrees to a horrific bargain with a demonic entity to resurrect Taro by binding the boy’s soul to a robotic body. The ritual succeeds, but now Arthur owes a repayment of blood.
Plagued by disturbing dreams, Arthur, Taro, and his crew are lured to Nightfall, a desolate dungeon on a remote moon that has been turned into a hellscape by the very entity he invoked. Before emergency lights drowned its corridors in blood-red, Nightfall’s prisoners relived their crimes in endless cryosleep. Now they awaken to a slaughterhouse.
After one of the survivors is viciously attacked, panic spreads and fear turns them on one another. Only Arthur knows the truth. In his grief, he cried into the darkness, and the entity that answered has come to collect its debt.
