About Court of Thorns and Promises
She broke the old bargain. Now the realm wants her to break the crown.
Wren Marlowe never wanted to become a legend.
Once, she was an apothecary trying to save her family. Now she is Queen of the Autumn Court, soul-bound to Kael, marked by primordial magic, and transformed in tavern songs and rebel broadsheets into something far more dangerous than a woman: a symbol.
Across the realm, a faction known as the Unfettered rises in her name. They call her the Chain-Breaker, the mortal queen who proved ancient power could bend. They believe she is destined to tear down the fae courts entirely, open the sealed gates between worlds, and free what was buried three thousand years ago.
But Wren knows better than anyone that change has a cost.
The courts she helped reform are fracturing. Kael’s allies fear she has become too powerful to control. Rebels claim she belongs to them. And their young daughter, Elara, begins dreaming of gates made of starlight, trapped souls, and women waiting on the other side. As winter solstice approaches, Wren and Kael must travel through hostile courts toward the Stone of First Binding, where every side expects Wren to choose the future of the realm.
Keep the gate closed, and thousands may remain imprisoned between worlds.
Open it, and the courts themselves may fall.
With love, power, and destiny pulling her in every direction, Wren must decide whether she is queen, weapon, savior, or something no legend has named yet.
Court of Thorns and Promises is the sweeping conclusion to the core trilogy of The Fae Bargain Chronicles, a romantic fae fantasy of dangerous vows, ancient gates, political rebellion, and a love powerful enough to challenge the shape of the world.
