About Claimed on the Ridge
She escaped one man’s control… and landed in another’s hands.
I don’t exist anymore.
The name I gave him is fake. The life I left behind is worse. And if I don’t make it across the border soon, my husband will find me, and this time, I won’t survive it.
Sawyer’s Ridge was supposed to be a quick stop. One night. Then gone.
But the storm traps me on a mountain with a man who sees too much.
Alex Sawyer doesn’t ask questions. He watches. Waits. Decides.
He notices the flinch I can’t hide.
The lies I don’t quite tell fast enough.
The fear I’ve learned to bury.
He doesn’t trust me.
He doesn’t need to.
Because the moment he looks at me, something shifts, and suddenly, leaving isn’t an option he’s willing to allow.
When the men hunting me finally reach the ridge, they expect to find a woman alone.
What they find… is Alex.
And he’s not the kind of man who gives anything back once he’s claimed it.
Not his land.
Not his home.
And definitely not me.
